About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
This is a high-performing project management and delivery-ownership kind of role at a hyper-growth healthcare AI-led company. You'll run multiple projects at once in an environment where priorities compete daily, requirements arrive half-formed, and the plan you set on Monday meets reality by Wednesday. Your job is to bring order to that: sequence the work, allocate scarce resources, keep clients confident, and give leadership a clear, honest read on where every project actually stands.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Project and resource management is your core:
Own a portfolio of concurrent projects' end-to-end scope, plan, staffing, budget, schedule, and delivery across multiple US healthcare clients.
Allocate and re-balance scarce resources across projects as priorities shift; make the hard calls on what gets done now, next, and not yet.
Turn ambiguous, half-defined asks into concrete plans, sequenced workstreams, and realistic timelines, then adapt fast as things change.
Manage competing priorities across projects and stakeholders every day; protect the team's focus while keeping every thread moving.
Track and forecast budget, scope, and schedule; surface risks and cross-team dependencies early and drive them to resolution.
Build a lightweight delivery structure that scales with the company and enough process to create clarity, never so much that it slows the team down.
Client Engagement Partner:
Serve as the primary delivery relationship owner for US-based healthcare clients - the person they trust to tell them the truth and get it done.
Translate client goals and constraints into delivery plans; manage expectations, scope changes, and tradeoffs directly.
Run client-facing reviews and cadences with confidence; handle escalations before they become fires.
Executive and C-Level Reporting:
Give founders and leadership a decision-ready view of portfolio health, risks, and trade-offs - signal, not noise.
Report on velocity, delivery KPIs, resourcing, and forecast across projects; bring recommendations, not just status.
Escalate the right things at the right time, with options attached.
Agile and Scrum Facilitation:
Facilitate core ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives across teams.
Remove impediments and shield engineers from context-switching and external noise.
Coach a maturing team on Agile practices, self-organisation, and continuous improvement; partner with Product Owners on prioritisation.
Healthcare and Technical Context:
Build enough fluency in US healthcare workflows (scheduling, dispatch, EMR integration, and HIPAA-relevant data handling) to plan delivery credibly.
Speak the language of data and AI engineers well enough to plan realistic timelines and flag technical risk early; you won't build the AI, but you'll plan around it.
Support release readiness for HIPAA-relevant and interoperability (HL7/FHIR-adjacent) work alongside engineering and compliance.
Requirements:
7-12 years as a project manager, Scrum Master, or agile coach, with project and resource management at the core, ideally in healthcare tech or another regulated industry.
A proven track record running multiple concurrent projects under shifting priorities and genuine ambiguity and delivering anyway.
Demonstrated ownership of budget, scope, schedule, and resource allocation across a portfolio, not a single project.
Client-facing credibility: You've been the engagement partner clients rely on, not a behind-the-scenes coordinator.
Executive communication skills: you can walk into a founder / C-level conversation and give a crisp, honest read with a recommendation.
Comfort in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment where process is still being built and change is constant.
Strong hands-on proficiency with Agile / PM tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar).
Working understanding of data and AI concepts sufficient to plan and de-risk AI-driven delivery.
Exceptional conflict resolution, servant leadership, and stakeholder communication.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
CSM, PSM, or PMP strongly preferred.
Willingness to overlap with US Eastern Time (EST), given daily collaboration with US-based healthcare clients.
Experience
7-11 yrs
