The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
System Design and Architecture:
Lead the design and development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems.
Drive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for complex software solutions.
Architect cloud-native, microservices-based applications using Node.js and React.js .
Design service-oriented and event-driven architectures for enterprise-scale systems.
Full Stack Development:
Build scalable backend services and responsive front-end applications.
Develop secure, high-performance applications using Node.js and React.js .
Optimise application performance, database efficiency, and overall system scalability.
Ensure code quality through engineering best practices and design standards.
Cloud and Distributed Systems:
Design and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Work with messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar event-streaming technologies.
Implement caching, load balancing, fault tolerance, and performance optimisation strategies.
Build highly available and reliable distributed systems.
Technical Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define scalable technical solutions.
Provide architectural guidance across engineering teams.
Mentor software engineers and establish engineering best practices.
Engineering Excellence:
Drive engineering standards, coding guidelines, and design patterns.
Review code, improve development processes, and ensure maintainable architecture.
Identify opportunities to improve scalability, security, and system reliability.
Support long-term technical roadmap and platform evolution.
Requirements:
5+ years of Full Stack Development experience using Node.js and React.js .
Strong expertise in designing scalable distributed systems and Microservices Architecture.
Hands-on experience with High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
Experience with caching, load balancing, database optimisation, and fault-tolerant systems.
Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading architecture discussions and technical reviews.
Strong understanding of distributed system design and event-driven architecture.
Experience mentoring engineering teams.
Exposure to high-scale product environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
