Responsibilities:
Concept development, modelling, drafting, and detailing of the automotive components in CATIA V5
Preparing the drawings according to the internal and external requirements.
Create initial database structure in Windchill / PLM for drawings, models, and supporting documents (BOM).
Maintaining Engineering Change Records (ECRs), including 3D & 2D record management.
Supporting Interdisciplinary design work shops (Project Management, Quality, Cost estimation, Process Planning, Tool & Die press shop, CAE).
Requirements:
Good understanding of design and engineering fundamentals, GD& T.
Very Good working knowledge of CATIA V5 and experience in sheet metal parts designing is a must.
Able to provide Engineering design solutions for analysis targets by meeting the defined requirements.
Experience in Windchill/ PLM is required.
Good knowledge of 2D and 3D Modelling / Drafting.
Good communication, team player, result-oriented, and problem-solving attitude.
Minimum qualification- Graduate with BE-Mechanical/ Automobile.
Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in CAD with Catia V5 in the automotive Industry.
