We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in the Telecom domain to design and develop enterprise messaging applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Kannel SMS Gateway, SMPP protocol, and telecom messaging platforms, along with experience building scalable REST APIs and microservices.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
Develop and integrate SMS solutions usingKannel SMS Gateway and SMPP.
Build REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
Integrate with SMSCs and telecom messaging platforms.
Optimise application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Requirements:
6 to 10 years of Java development experience.
Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
Hands-on experience withKannel SMS Gateway and SMPP protocol.
Experience with Telecom SMSCs and messaging platforms.
Good to have: REST APIs, Microservices, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle), Linux/Unix, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Skills: Java 8/11/17 Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, Microservices, Kannel SMS Gateway, SMPP Protocol, Telecom Messaging Platforms, SMSC Integration, SQL, Linux, Git, CI/CD, Telecom Domain Experience.
Must have prior Telecom industry experience with hands-on working knowledge of SMPP, SMSC, and Kannel SMS Gateway.
Profiles without Telecom messaging experience will not be considered.
Preferred Skills: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, Redis and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK), Experience with Agile/Scrum.
