We are looking for a skilled and passionate Frontend Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate has 4-7 years of experience building responsive, high-performance web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain scalable, user-facing web applications.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to implement features and UI enhancements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Optimise applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements:
4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
Strong proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with React.js (preferred) or Vue.js/Angular.
Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimisation.
Experience with build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Good to Have:
Experience with TypeScript.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Familiarity with Figma or other design tools.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
