Bright Money is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations across our India and US entities, ensuring books are accurate, reconciliations are timely, and statutory filings are filed without slippage.
Responsibilities:
Review and maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally and QuickBooks; supervise routine operational activities and resolve issues.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings in India and the US (GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI, sales tax, etc. ) within prescribed timelines.
Perform analytical reviews of financial documentation; produce statements for management on accounting status and discrepancies.
Conduct record reviews and assessments to verify financial documentation; produce financial statement reports and document audit processes and balances.
Identify accounting issues, reconcile accounts, and propose solutions.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
Review all intercompany transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure clean schedules each close.
Manage MIS reporting and share details with the senior manager, finance, regularly.
Support internal, statutory, and tax auditors with required schedules, evidence, and explanations.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience; CA Inter or M. Com preferred.
Hands-on experience with Tally and QuickBooks (independent working experience in QuickBooks is mandatory).
Working knowledge of Indian GAAP / Ind AS.
Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in India.
Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, reconciliation models).
Review and maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally and QuickBooks.
