Engineering Manager - DevOps

We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager - DevOps with 14-17 years of experience, who can lead high-performing teams, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and drive scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and scale DevOps/SRE teams, fostering a culture of ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Drive strong stakeholder management across engineering, product, security, and leadership teams to align on priorities and delivery timelines.
Own and execute the DevOps roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and product goals.
Architect, build, and manage scalable, highly available systems on Azure Cloud.
Establish and optimise CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and release processes.
Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) adoption and standardisation.
Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices.
Lead cloud cost optimisation, governance, and security compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
14-17 years of overall experience with proven team leadership and people management.
Strong experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving large-scale initiatives.
Deep expertise in Azure (AKS, VMs, networking, storage, and Azure DevOps).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Strong experience in containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor).
Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Good to Have:
Experience with multi-cloud (AWS/GCP).
Exposure to SRE practices and incident management.
Background in high-scale product or platform engineering environments.
