Staff Software Engineer

Celigo is looking for a Staff Software Engineer who absolutely loves to write code. Experience with JavaScript and Node JS is a huge plus, but if there are any really talented developers out there looking to try something new, we would love to hear from you too. Responsibilities:
In this position you will design and bring to market turnkey business apps for users of cloud systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce.com, Google, Amazon, Magento, and more.
Design and deliver scalable, high-quality backend systems using Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, and Kafka, applying strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Quickly ramp up on new technologies, systems, and business context, demonstrating a fast-learning and proactive mindset.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical discussions, and bring new ideas to improve systems and processes.
Take ownership of features end-to-end, from design and development to testing and deployment.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience with any programming frameworks with strong OO skills.
5+ years of experience working with Node.js is a must.
Experience leading technical architecture discussions and helping drive technical decisions within the team.
Experience in partnering with the product management team.
Experience in the integration domain (Good to have).
Experience in developing products that handle large data sets.
Experience in working on SaaS Solutions is an added advantage.
Solid foundation in computer science with strong competency in Data structures, Design principles, Algorithms, Software design (low-level class designs), and Performance/scalability.
