DevOps Engineer

At Commotion, we are looking for a technically hands-on DevOps Engineer who will architect, build, secure, and scale our multi-cloud infrastructure while collaborating with engineers and driving operational excellence. You will be a core pillar in building a resilient, secure, and highly automated platform that supports rapid product innovation.
Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to multi-cloud DevOps strategy across AWS/Azure/GCP, with deep hands-on expertise in at least one cloud.
Architect and govern multi-account/project/subscription environments with strong IAM, networking, and cost controls.
Own Kubernetes platforms end-to-end with strong command over the CNCF ecosystem.
Design and scale CI/CD systems using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Tekton, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD/Flux.
Build robust observability systems across cloud and Kubernetes (Prometheus, Thanos, VictoriaMetrics, etc. ).
Drive cloud, API, and Kubernetes security across the full service lifecycle.
Lead security audits, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.
Ensure production reliability, scalability, and high availability.
Collaborate with engineering, product, leadership, vendors, and customers with clarity and accountability.
Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup environment.
Requirements:
Deep Kubernetes production experience.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture & networking.
Proven experience handling multi-environment governance.
Strong CI/CD and GitOps mindset.
Security-first thinking with audit exposure.
Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.
Comfortable working in aggressive startup environments.
