Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar tools.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
Collaborate with development teams to optimise application performance, reliability, and deployment workflows.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
Manage and optimise cloud costs by identifying unused resources and implementing cost-saving strategies.
Write automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Go to streamline operations and reduce manual work.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents with appropriate urgency.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
Support disaster recovery planning and execute backup/restore procedures.
Work with version control systems (Git) and follow branching strategies for infrastructure code.
Plan and execute migrations from GCP, Azure, VMware, and on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
Assess existing infrastructure and design AWS target architectures (lift-and-shift, re-platform, refactor).
Perform application dependency mapping and create detailed migration runbooks.
Use AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service (MGN),
Database Migration Service (DMS), and Server Migration Service for workload migrations.
Design and implement landing zones, VPC architecture, networking, and security configurations in AWS.
Migrate databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) using AWS DMS and SCT (Schema Conversion Tool).
Migrate VMware workloads using VMware Cloud on AWS or AWS MGN.
Conduct post-migration validation, performance testing, and optimisation.
Maintain and optimise production infrastructure across multiple cloud providers, ensuring high availability, Cost control and performance.
Requirements:
Strong Agile mindset with focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
Excellent cross-team collaboration skills with experience working in Scrum teams and managing JIRA workflows.
Strong expertise in designing, deploying, securing, and optimising cloud services across multiple platforms.
Strong experience with Linux and Windows infrastructure management.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug multi-system issues under pressure.
Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, and automation tools.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and AWS services.
Good understanding of DevOps Agile principles with hands-on experience building multi-stage CI/CD pipelines.
Experience supporting customer engagements and contributing to technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Ability to contribute to large-scale projects and implement solutions based on customer requirements
Experience with code quality assurance tools (ESLint, Pylint, SonarQube, Checkmarx) and security scanning frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, or equivalent.
Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
Knowledge of security scanning tools (SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, Checkmarx) and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with database management and backup automation (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) or API gateways.
Experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment.
Knowledge of serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC2 ISO 27001 HIPAA).
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
