Founding Frontend Product Engineer

You'll own the mobile app end-to-end from architecture to App Store release. Corpus is a conversational AI product, so the frontend isn't just screens; it's the entire experience layer where users build trust with their money. You'll work directly with the founders to ship the product users interact with every day.
Responsibilities:
Architect and ship the Corpus mobile app from alpha to production release.
Build fluid conversational UI, interactive charts, and generative UI blocks that render from AI tool outputs.
Implement smooth animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that make the app feel premium.
Own performance profiling, bundle optimisation, fast cold starts, and jank-free scrolling across devices.
Integrate authentication (Clerk), push notifications, and real-time data syncing.
Build and maintain a reusable component library and design system alongside the designer.
Set up CI/CD, testing pipelines, and release workflows.
Expectations:
This is a high-ownership, in-person role in Bangalore.
You'll context-switch between polish and plumbing in the same day.
This works well for people who want deep involvement in a product from day one.
It may not be the right fit if you're optimising for predictability or clear swim lanes.
Requirements:
3+ years building production mobile apps with Flutter (Dart).
Strong command of state management (Riverpod/Bloc), platform channels, and native integrations.
Shipped at least one app to the App Store / Play Store and iterated based on real user feedback.
Deep understanding of mobile performance widget rebuilds, isolates, rendering optimisation, and memory profiling.
Good product instinct: you question user flows, not just implement them.
Comfortable working with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to move fast.
Bonus:
Experience building custom render objects or complex animations in Flutter.
Built conversational or generative UI (streaming responses, dynamic component rendering).
Familiarity with Flutter's platform view integration and method channels for native SDKs.
