Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a rockstar. Full-stack Developer to lead the end-to-end development of a robust, scalable Point of Sale (POS) system. You will be responsible for everything from designing the database schema for complex inventory management to building an intuitive, lightning-quick interface for retail environments.
Responsibilities:
System Architecture: Design and implement the core architecture of the POS, ensuring it can handle high-concurrency transactions.
Backend Logic: Develop secure APIs for payment gateway integration (Stripe, Razorpay, etc. ), tax engines, and real-time inventory tracking.
Frontend Excellence: Build a responsive, offline-first web or desktop interface that remains functional even during internet outages.
Hardware Integration: Manage integrations with peripheral hardware like thermal printers, barcode scanners, and card readers.
Data Integrity: Ensure ACID compliance for all financial transactions and detailed reporting analytics.
Requirements:
Technical Stack: Proficiency in your preferred backend stack (e. g., Node.js, Python, Go) and frontend stack (e. g., React, Angular, Vue).
Database Management: Strong experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL (for transactions) and Redis (for caching).
Offline-First Experience: Knowledge of Service Workers, IndexedDB, or local caching mechanisms.
Security: Deep understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and data encryption.
Problem Solving: Ability to handle complex logic like partial refunds, multi-currency support, and tiered loyalty programs.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience building FinTech, e-commerce, or retail tech products.
Experience with Electron.js for building cross-platform desktop applications.
Knowledge of WebSocket for real-time order syncing across multiple devices.
