Responsibilities:
Backend Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.
Database and Query Optimisation: Write efficient SQL/PL-SQL queries, design relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) schema structures, and implement indexing/caching strategies to minimise latency.
Full-Stack and Integration: Develop lightweight UI components or backend-for-frontend (BFF) layers using JavaScript (Node.js, Knockout.js, React, or vanilla JS).
System Design and Security: Implement low-level system designs (LLD), secure communication protocols (OAuth 2.0 JWT), ACID-compliant transaction handling, and robust exception handling.
CI/CD and Cloud Operationalisation: Containerise applications using Docker and integrate services into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS/Cloud environments).
Performance and Monitoring: Optimise system throughput, conduct code reviews, resolve.
