Role Description The Field Services Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in North Delhi. The individual in this role will install, commission, and service NDT equipment (including MPI and Eddy current machines) at customer locations, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and providing timely technical support to minimize equipment downtime. The Field Services Engineer will also conduct inspections, calibrations, and functional tests according to company standards and customer requirements, documenting all work performed. This role involves direct interaction with customers to explain findings, provide training on equipment operation, and maintain strong, professional relationships aligned with Magkraft’s quality and service standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Field Service skills, including on-site installation, commissioning, and servicing of industrial or NDT equipment.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose faults, resolve complex issues, and guide customers in safe equipment use.
Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance capabilities to plan, perform, and document regular maintenance, calibration, and inspection activities.
Candidates should possess effective Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to manage client expectations and feedback.
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
Experience working with NDT equipment, industrial machinery, or similar technical systems is highly beneficial.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics; familiarity with safety standards and industrial best practices.
Willingness to travel to customer sites, strong problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently and in coordination with cross-functional teams.
