Senior Data Scientist – AI/ML & Generative AI

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist with strong hands-on expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Generative AI.
The ideal candidate should have experience developing end-to-end AI/ML solutions using both structured and unstructured data, along with hands-on experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms.
Candidates currently working in non-technology industries are preferred. Candidates with experience in Analytics Consulting firms will also be considered favorably.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Machine Learning and AI solutions.
Build ML models using both structured and unstructured datasets.
Develop and implement Generative AI / GenAI solutions.
Work on use cases involving NLP, LLMs, predictive modelling, classification, recommendation, forecasting, or similar AI/ML areas.
Perform data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, tuning, and evaluation.
Deploy AI/ML models and GenAI solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into scalable data science solutions.
Develop production-ready solutions and support model deployment and monitoring.
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications.
Present insights, model outcomes, and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills
8+ years of overall experience in AI/ML and Data Science
Strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence
Hands-on experience developing solutions using Structured Data
Hands-on experience developing solutions using Unstructured Data
Generative AI / GenAI experience – Mandatory
Experience with LLMs / Large Language Models
Strong Python programming experience
Experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as:
Scikit-learn
TensorFlow
PyTorch
XGBoost
Pandas / NumPy
Experience deploying solutions on at least one cloud platform:
AWS
Azure
GCP
Strong understanding of model development, evaluation, deployment, and productionization.
Preferred Candidate Background
Candidates currently working in Data Science / AI functions within Non-Tech industries
BFSI profiles are not preferred
Candidates from Analytics Consulting firms are preferred
Experience delivering business-focused AI/ML use cases
Strong stakeholder and client communication skills
Experience working on multiple AI/ML or GenAI use cases end-to-end
