Role Description The Team Leader & City Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role oversees city-level operations, including branch and field teams, to drive loan acquisition, customer onboarding, and portfolio quality. The person in this position will monitor daily performance metrics, implement process improvements, and ensure adherence to compliance and risk guidelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with central business, credit, and collections teams, managing local stakeholder relationships, and resolving operational issues to maintain high customer satisfaction. The Team Leader & City Manager will also be expected to recruit, train, and mentor team members, set clear targets, and create a culture of performance and accountability in line with Kissht’s values.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance tracking, and coaching capabilities.
Experience in branch or city-level operations, preferably in fintech, consumer lending, banking, or financial services.
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including using dashboards, reports, and KPIs to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Sound understanding of credit processes, basic risk management practices, and regulatory and compliance requirements in lending.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage field activities, and handle time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in city management, territory management, or regional roles with responsibility for revenue and portfolio quality is preferred.
