The vision of the company is to establish a robust ,efficient distribution and marketing presence globally in countries with its safe and efficacious products.
The company works with 25 to 30 CMO sites which are pre approved by Pics/ Eu / EaEu authorities across the globe.
It also has a tie up with CRO s which work on New products and their stable development .
The quality based management systems , regulatory teams, quality teams and inventory management processes ensure timely and safe procurement of pharma and wellness products as per pre determined time lines .
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Production Planning and Inventory Control – Assistant Manager / Senior Executive in the pharmaceutical and natural cosmetics segment. The role involves creating and managing production plans, aligning production schedules with demand forecasts, and coordinating with manufacturing, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods. The individual will monitor inventory levels, track batch-wise production, manage reorder points, and optimize stock levels to reduce shortages and excess inventory. Daily responsibilities include analyzing production and inventory data, preparing reports and dashboards, updating planning systems, and supporting adherence to regulatory and quality standards. The role also requires clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve planning issues, support new product launches, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
The person should be well experienced to pre audit manufacturing sites, negotiate costing of products as per target requirements , and plan delivery of products on a timely basis.
To visit the sites to resolve bottle necks in production and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and managing Production Schedules.
Candidates should possess solid Planning and Analytical Skills for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with production, procurement, and warehouse teams.
Relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or FMCG manufacturing and inventory control is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, supply chain, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in ERP or planning software, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with GMP and quality standards are advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced production environment is important.
