Role Description The Industrial Nurse will provide on-site occupational health nursing services to employees at facilities in Ilkal in a full-time capacity. Daily responsibilities include conducting health assessments, managing workplace injuries and illnesses, and coordinating first aid and emergency response. The role involves implementing occupational health programs, monitoring workplace health risks, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Industrial Nurse will collaborate with medical practitioners, safety teams, and management to support regulatory compliance and promote health education and wellness initiatives for the workforce.
Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in Nursing and Occupational Health Nursing in industrial or workplace settings.
Strong understanding of Occupational Health principles and workplace safety practices.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Medicine relevant to first aid, emergency care, and common occupational conditions.
Ability to provide Training on health, hygiene, first aid, and safety procedures to employees and teams.
Valid nursing registration/license as per applicable regulatory requirements.
Prior experience in industrial, corporate, or community health settings is advantageous.
Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on-site in Ilkal, respond calmly in emergencies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
