Role Description The Junior Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in managing uniform product lines, from sampling to final delivery. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves coordinating with sales, production, and design teams to ensure product specifications, timelines, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in product development, preparing purchase orders, tracking inventory levels, and maintaining accurate records of styles, fabrics, and trims. The Junior Merchandiser will help analyze customer requirements, prepare presentations and samples for clients, and support pricing and order follow-up. The role also includes visiting suppliers when needed, monitoring market trends in uniforms and workwear, and contributing to continuous improvement of merchandising processes.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Sales and Retail experience to understand buyer needs, product positioning, and order management in a uniform-focused environment.
Basic Marketing knowledge to support presentations, product showcases, and branding-oriented uniform solutions.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple orders and timelines simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with inventory or order management tools.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate in a team setting, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing and wholesale environment.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile, Apparel Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Prior internship or 0–2 years of experience in merchandising, uniforms, apparel, or related industry will be an advantage.
