Role Description The Team Lead – Title Search will oversee a team responsible for conducting accurate and timely title searches and related title production activities. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru East involves assigning and monitoring workloads, reviewing title search outputs for quality and compliance, and ensuring adherence to established processes and service-level agreements. The team lead will guide and mentor title search associates, provide training on best practices and systems, and support continuous improvement in productivity and quality. This role includes collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex title issues, escalating exceptions when needed, and contributing to process documentation and performance reporting.
Qualifications
Experience in title full search, title examination, or related title production activities, with the ability to interpret property records, legal descriptions, and ownership histories.
Strong people management skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, coaching, and workload planning in a high-volume operations environment.
Proficiency with title production systems, document management tools, and standard office software; comfort working with technology-enabled workflows and metrics dashboards.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies, assess risk, and ensure accuracy in title search outputs.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members, internal stakeholders, and, where required, external partners.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru East and manage deadlines, multiple priorities, and service-level commitments in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in mortgage, title, or real estate finance operations is highly preferred; familiarity with U.S. real estate and lending practices is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving processes, tools, and regulatory requirements.
