Role Description The Sales Manager – Hotel & Hospitality is a full-time, on-site role based in Udaipur. This role is responsible for driving room and ancillary revenue through corporate, travel agent, and direct guest relationships, as well as managing online travel agency (OTA) and channel partner performance. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and closing new business, managing key accounts, preparing proposals, negotiating rates and contracts, and monitoring sales targets and KPIs. The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with property operations, marketing, and reservations teams to develop packages, promotions, and group offers that align with occupancy and revenue goals. The role also involves regular market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and participation in local networking events to strengthen Hide-in’s brand presence in the hotel and hostel segment.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing in the hotel or hospitality sector.
Experience with corporate and B2B sales, travel agent relationships, and OTA/channel management (e.g., Booking.com, Hostelworld, MakeMyTrip, etc.).
Ability to analyze sales reports, revenue data, and market trends, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests and partners.
Proven organizational and time-management capabilities, including handling multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
Prior experience in hotel, hostel, or hospitality sales management; experience in youth travel or boutique hospitality is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working on-site in a dynamic, guest-facing environment in Udaipur, with flexibility for weekends and peak-season hours.
Proficiency with CRM tools, property management systems
