Role Description :-
Livspace is looking for an Interior Designer to join our Nashik team. The role involves working closely with homeowners to understand their requirements, lifestyle, budget and design preferences, and converting these requirements into functional and aesthetically appealing home interiors.
The designer will be responsible for taking the project through the design and sales journey, from the initial client discussion and design presentation to design finalisation and pushing the project towards production.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Conduct the initial design meeting with clients and understand their requirements, lifestyle, budget and expectations.
- Understand the client's home, space requirements and preferred design style, and develop suitable design solutions.
- Create space plans, layouts, concepts, mood boards and 2D/3D designs for residential interiors.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients and incorporate feedback.
- Guide clients on materials, finishes, colours, furniture, fixtures and other interior elements.
- Prepare and coordinate working drawings and design documentation required for project execution.
- Work closely with clients to finalise designs and specifications within the agreed budget and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal design, production and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to production/execution.
- Follow up on design-related requirements and ensure projects are pushed towards production within committed timelines.
- Identify opportunities to convert design discussions into sales and achieve project/booking targets.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the design journey and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Coordinate with relevant teams whenever site inputs or clarifications are required.
Qualifications & Skills :-
- 2–5 years of experience in Interior Design, preferably in residential interiors.
- Strong understanding of residential interior design and space planning.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and modular interiors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualisation tools or similar software.
- Ability to create and understand working/construction drawings.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Strong ownership of projects, follow-ups and timelines.
- Sales orientation and experience in converting design proposals into bookings/orders will be an advantage.
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
