Business Analyst

Food Galery is a food and grocery delivery platform connecting customers, restaurants, stores, and delivery partners through a single digital ecosystem. We are looking for a Business Analyst to help us improve business operations, understand customer and restaurant behavior, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Operations Analysis
- Analyze Food Galery’s daily business operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Study orders, revenue, cancellations, refunds, delivery performance, and customer activity.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend practical solutions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business performance reports.
- Monitor important business KPIs and highlight deviations.
2. Restaurant & Merchant Analysis
- Analyze restaurant onboarding, order volume, revenue, ratings, cancellations, and performance.
- Identify high-performing and underperforming restaurants.
- Track restaurant activation and retention.
- Provide insights to the restaurant onboarding and sales teams.
- Help identify opportunities to increase restaurant orders and revenue.
3. Customer Analysis
- Analyze customer acquisition, orders, repeat purchases, cancellations, and retention.
- Identify customer behavior and purchasing patterns.
- Analyze customer complaints and support data.
- Recommend strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
4. Delivery & Operations Analysis
- Monitor delivery times, order allocation, cancellations, failed deliveries, and delivery partner performance.
- Identify reasons for delivery delays and operational failures.
- Work with the operations team to improve delivery efficiency.
- Analyze performance by city, area, restaurant, and delivery partner.
5. Product & App Analysis
- Work with the Product and Technology teams to identify business requirements.
- Understand problems faced by customers, restaurants, and delivery partners.
- Convert business requirements into clear functional requirements.
- Assist in developing and improving Food Galery app and website features.
- Participate in requirement gathering, testing, and feature validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience.
6. Data & Reporting
- Create dashboards and reports for management.
- Analyze business data using Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau or similar tools.
- Maintain accurate business reports and datasets.
- Track trends and provide actionable insights.
- Present findings to management and relevant departments.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Restaurant Onboarding, KYC, Operations, Customer Support, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Technology teams.
- Coordinate with different teams to understand business problems.
- Follow up on improvement initiatives and measure their results.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL is preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of KPIs, dashboards, business reporting, and data analysis.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and manage priorities.
- Experience in food delivery, e-commerce, logistics, fintech, or marketplace platforms is an advantage.
