Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Channapatna, Karnataka, India. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, binocular vision assessment, and screening for ocular diseases. Daily responsibilities include prescribing glasses and contact lenses, The Optometrist will collaborate with ophthalmologists and other clinicians for co-management of complex cases and pre- and post-operative care as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong clinical optometry skills, including refraction, diagnosis of common eye conditions
Candidates should possess proficiency in using standard optometric instruments and diagnostic tools such as slit lamp, keratometer, autorefractor, and visual field testing devices.
Candidates should possess skills in maintaining accurate medical records,
Candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry from a recognized institution and appropriate registration or licensure as required.
Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-speciality clinical team and adapt to a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Prior experience in a hospital or multi-speciality clinic.
