Role Description The Senior Sales Manager will lead and grow advertising sales for Red FM in Bengaluru, focusing on radio, events, activations, and digital solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for achieving revenue targets, developing sales strategies, and building long-term relationships with key clients and agencies. Day-to-day activities include prospecting new business, pitching integrated solutions across On Air, Red Live, Red Active, Red Digital, and Red Integrated Solutions, and negotiating and closing high-value deals. The role involves collaborating closely with programming, marketing, and client solutions teams to design effective campaigns and ensure strong campaign delivery and client satisfaction. The Senior Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, track competitor activity, prepare sales forecasts, and mentor junior sales team members.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in media or advertising sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Proficiency in consultative selling, key account management, and relationship building with agencies and direct clients.
Strong skills in sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal negotiation.
Ability to sell integrated solutions across radio, events, on-ground activations, and digital platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for client pitches and internal collaboration.
Experience leading or mentoring sales teams, with a focus on performance, coaching, and collaboration.
Comfort working with data and reports to analyze campaign performance and market trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in FM radio, media, or entertainment industry in a sales leadership role is highly beneficial.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and adapt to changing client needs and market conditions.
