We are looking for a seasoned VP of Engineering to lead our engineering team with a balance of strategic leadership (70%) and hands-on technical expertise (30%). This role involves managing a team of 15-20 engineers, including 2-3 Engineering Managers, while taking full ownership of the technical direction, scalability, and reliability of our products.
Requirements:
8+ years in software engineering with at least 4 years in leadership roles, managing cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in managing systems that handle millions of requests daily and are used by a large-scale audience.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in Python, Django, React, AWS, Kafka, and related technologies. (Java is good to have)
Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud architectures, and microservices.
