Responsibilities:
Prepare farm layout plans based on the location, ensuring optimal placement of infrastructure, irrigation systems, and access points.
Develop irrigation cluster designs, perform calculations for water distribution efficiency, and optimize water usage based on crop requirements.
Design and arrange raw water sources, ensuring reliable water supply.
Calculate total water requirements and design facilities for efficient usage and distribution.
Specify technical details for pumping systems, fertigation machines (capacity, schedules), and other equipment to optimize resource management and automation.
Create Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for all plumbing systems, including irrigation, climate control, water filtration, sprinkler/rain gun systems, and fire water systems.
Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for change management, tracking, and implementing adjustments in designs or specifications as needed.
Utilize relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc. ) for layout and technical designs.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, ensure adherence to designs, and update management on development.
Requirements:
BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
Min. 65% academics through 10+2 BE/BTech/Diploma.
Proficiency in design and layout planning, especially in irrigation and plumbing for agricultural settings.
Skilled in AutoCAD and experienced with other design software.
Knowledge of MS Office applications.
Experience in designing water plumbing lines, including pumping arrangements.
