Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. The role involves performing routine inspections of kitchen and industrial equipment, identifying issues, and carrying out timely repairs to minimize downtime. Daily tasks include executing preventive maintenance schedules, monitoring equipment performance, and documenting all maintenance activities. The Maintenance Technician will respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical problems, and work closely with operations staff to ensure a safe, efficient workspace. The role also includes maintaining tools and spare parts inventory, following safety guidelines, and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for kitchen and industrial machinery.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance to diagnose and resolve mechanical or basic electrical issues.
Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance to plan and execute regular inspections and servicing of equipment.
Candidates should possess knowledge of safety standards, basic electrical and mechanical principles, and proper use of tools and measuring instruments.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred, along with prior experience in a production, hospitality, or food service environment.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, ability to follow standard operating procedures, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work in shifts when required.
