Company Description Pilates Academy Thane is a part of the global Pilates Academy network, which includes 28 studios across Dubai, India, and other locations. Located in Thane West, Maharashtra, the studio will offer reformer Pilates, Fuse Ladder training, and private Cadillac sessions in three dedicated zones under one roof. Classes will be led by internationally trained instructors who follow Pilates Academy’s global training standards. The Founders’ Phase is set to open in 2026, with the full three-zone studio launching shortly after. Pilates Academy Thane is currently building its instructor team, studio space, and service standards ahead of opening.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pilates Instructor role based in Thane. The instructor will lead group reformer classes, Fuse Ladder sessions, and private or duet Cadillac sessions, ensuring safe, effective, and engaging workouts for clients at different fitness levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client needs, designing class sequences, providing clear exercise demonstrations, and offering hands-on corrections and modifications. The role also involves tracking client progress, maintaining studio equipment and cleanliness, supporting trial sessions or assessments, and collaborating with the team to uphold global Pilates Academy teaching standards. Instructors will contribute to client retention and studio growth by delivering excellent service and actively participating in community and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Pilates Instruction, with the ability to teach on reformer, Fuse Ladder, and Cadillac equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in Group Exercise leadership, including managing mixed-level classes and maintaining class flow and safety.
Candidates should possess knowledge in Physical Therapy or functional movement, with an understanding of anatomy, posture, and injury-safe modifications.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including client communication, rapport-building, and handling feedback professionally.
Candidates should possess Teaching skills, including clear cueing, structured class planning, and the ability to coach beginners and advanced clients.
Relevant Pilates certification from a recognized training body; additional certifications in fitness or yoga are an advantage.
Experience teaching in a studio or fitness environment, preferably with equipment-based Pilates.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and commitment to ongoing learning and global teaching standards.
