Role Description The Hub Incharge – Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day hub operations and ensuring smooth, efficient processing of shipments. This role includes managing inbound and outbound volume, monitoring operational KPIs, and coordinating with central teams to maintain service quality and on-time deliveries. The Hub Incharge will supervise hub staff and delivery partners, plan shift schedules, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Daily tasks involve tracking performance metrics, resolving operational issues, optimizing routes and processes, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The role also requires regular communication with cross-functional stakeholders, continuous process improvement, and maintaining a high level of customer and client satisfaction through reliable operational execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee hub processes, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills to lead teams, manage shifts, and ensure adherence to operational standards.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
Experience in logistics, warehousing, or last-mile delivery operations is highly beneficial.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make timely decisions, and handle escalations effectively.
Proficiency with basic MS Excel or other reporting tools for daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
