Role Description The Technical Document Writer is responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for KVF TECH’s cloud and AI solutions. In this contract, remote role, the writer will develop and maintain technical manuals, system documentation, and process guides that support engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with subject matter experts, gathering technical information, and translating complex concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences. The role involves structuring and organizing documentation sets, ensuring consistency in terminology and style, and maintaining version control across documents. The writer will also review existing documentation for clarity and completeness, update materials in line with product changes, and help define documentation standards and templates.
Qualifications
Strong skills in technical writing and technical communication for software, cloud, or infrastructure products.
Experience in technical documentation and creating structured documentation sets for engineering and operations teams.
Ability to develop clear manuals, user guides, and reference materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in using documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, HTML, Confluence, Git-based workflows, or similar platforms).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and basic concepts related to security, compliance, and DevOps is highly beneficial.
Excellent written English, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Comfort working remotely, managing deadlines independently, and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
