Role Description The Research Intern will support TCC’s legal education and training initiatives by conducting in-depth legal and industry research to inform courses, simulations, and mentorship programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing legal materials, summarizing key findings, preparing research briefs, and assisting in the development of learning resources and content. The intern will collaborate with mentors and team members to gather data, analyze trends in the legal profession, and contribute to new program ideas. This is an internship role designed for law students or early-career legal professionals who want practical exposure to legal research and education. This is a remote role, offering flexibility while maintaining regular communication and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Strong legal research and analytical skills, including familiarity with legal databases and ability to synthesize complex information.
Clear and concise writing skills for preparing research notes, summaries, and educational materials.
Attention to detail and ability to review documents for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Ability to work collaboratively with mentors and team members, with professional communication and openness to feedback.
Current enrollment in a law degree program or recent graduation; demonstrable interest in legal education, technology, or legal innovation is an advantage.
Comfort with digital tools, online collaboration platforms, and basic proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
Self-motivated, proactive approach to learning and willingness to engage with new concepts and projects.
