Role Description The Forklift Driver is a full-time, on-site position based at our facility in Mumbai. The role involves operating forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging within the warehouse and production areas. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading trucks, organizing materials in storage locations, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and preparing goods for dispatch. The Forklift Driver will follow safety protocols, maintain equipment in good working order, and keep work areas organized and clean. This role works closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely material flow.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving to handle incoming and outgoing materials, verify documentation, and support inventory accuracy.
Candidates should possess skills in Unloading and Packing to safely load/unload trucks and prepare goods for storage or shipment.
Candidates should possess skills in Material Handling to move, store, and organize raw materials and finished products within warehouse and production areas.
Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation, including safe driving, stacking, and maneuvering in confined spaces, with relevant certification or license where required.
Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environments is beneficial.
Ability to follow safety guidelines, read basic documentation, and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Physical ability to stand, lift, and move materials for extended periods, in line with safety standards.
Basic numeracy and attention to detail to support stock counts and accurate record-keeping.
