Role Description The UI/UX Designer intern will collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to create intuitive interfaces and engaging user experiences for ApexPixel’s gaming projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes, as well as translating gameplay requirements into clear, visually appealing UI elements. The role involves conducting user research and usability testing, iterating on design solutions based on feedback, and maintaining consistency with the game’s visual identity and design systems. The intern will also assist in preparing design assets and documentation for implementation by the development team and participate in design reviews. This is an on-site internship role based in Delhi, India.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong UI/UX design skills, including experience with wireframing, prototyping, and creating user flows.
Candidates should possess proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar interface design software.
Candidates should possess visual design capabilities, including layout, typography, color theory, and iconography tailored to gaming interfaces.
Candidates should possess foundational user research and usability testing skills, with the ability to analyze feedback and iterate on designs.
Candidates should possess basic understanding of interaction design principles and responsive design for multi-platform experiences.
Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Relevant coursework or projects in UI/UX, game design, human-computer interaction, or graphic design; a portfolio showcasing digital product or game interface work is highly beneficial.
Interest in gaming and interactive experiences, with awareness of current UI/UX trends in the gaming industry.
