Role Description The Data Analytics role is a full-time, on-site position based at Al-Ameen Institute of Information Science in Bengaluru. The professional in this role will collect, clean, and validate data from various academic, administrative, and operational sources. Daily responsibilities include performing quantitative analyses, generating reports and dashboards, and translating data insights into recommendations for institutional improvement. The role involves working with stakeholders to understand their information needs, designing metrics and KPIs, and presenting findings in a clear, accessible format. The individual will also support ongoing analytics projects, contribute to process optimization, and stay current with best practices in data analytics and visualization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a solid foundation in Analytics for problem-solving and decision support.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics and Business Analytics to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics to design analyses, interpret results, and validate conclusions.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and languages (such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R) and familiarity with visualization tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) is beneficial.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Science, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks effectively is expected.
