Role Description This is a full-time Video Editor role based in Dehradun, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility. The Video Editor is responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into clear, engaging videos that explain CFM’s services, student journeys, and educational guidance. Day-to-day work includes trimming and organizing clips, adding transitions and effects, integrating motion graphics and titles, syncing audio, and ensuring visual consistency. The role involves collaborating with content, counseling, and marketing teams to translate complex information into accessible, student-friendly video content. The Video Editor also maintains organized project files, adheres to brand guidelines, and meets deadlines for social media, web, and campaign deliverables.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating, assembling, and polishing high-quality educational content.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone and enhance the overall look and feel of videos.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design simple animations, titles, and visual elements that support storytelling.
Relevant experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of social media and digital content formats.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver work within agreed timelines.
Prior experience in education, counseling, or mission-driven organizations is an advantage.
A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
