Role Description The Restaurant Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts for restaurant projects, including layout planning, mood boards, material palettes, and furniture selections. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with architects and project managers, preparing design presentations, and translating concepts into detailed drawings and documentation. The role involves coordinating FF&E specifications, ensuring designs align with brand identity, budget, and local regulations, and supporting site teams during implementation as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring close interaction with internal teams and clients to deliver cohesive and functional restaurant interiors.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with experience in restaurant or hospitality projects.
Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills, including ability to prepare detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
Candidates should possess FF&E skills, including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design concepts and budgets.
Candidates should have proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic proficiency in presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
Candidates should have strong visualization, color, and material sense, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Candidates should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and clients.
A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in restaurant or retail interiors is an advantage.
