Role Description The Regional Manager Nephrology is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for leading and growing Wockhardt’s nephrology portfolio in the assigned region. This role includes planning and executing regional sales and marketing strategies for nephrology products, including dialysis and transplant-related therapies, in alignment with national objectives. The Regional Manager will manage and mentor a team of field professionals, oversee territory performance, and build strong relationships with nephrologists, dialysis centers, transplant units, and key hospital stakeholders. Day-to-day activities include monitoring regional performance, conducting regular market visits, organizing continuing medical education (CME) and educational programs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The role also involves analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product launches, pricing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong clinical knowledge and experience in Medicine and Nephrology, with the ability to effectively engage with healthcare professionals.
Candidates should possess practical understanding of renal therapies, including Dialysis, Hemodialysis, and related treatment protocols.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Transplant procedures and post-transplant management in the context of nephrology care.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related healthcare field; advanced certifications in nephrology or renal care are an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare management, preferably in nephrology or specialty care, with strong regional business acumen.
Proven leadership, team management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to drive performance and motivate a diverse field team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with proficiency in presenting scientific and commercial information to medical audiences.
