This is a Casual Role
This position forms part of the Hilton Accounting & Finance Services (HAFS) Center of Excellence (CoE) Order to Cash (OTC) team for Australia dedicated to the delivery of timely and accurate accounting, financial reporting and analysis. This position will be required to manage the end to end collections efforts, closely work with the Shared Service Center (SSC) and perform any OTC duties as assigned for any one or multiple hotel(s) from a central location. A critical aspect of the HAFS services is proper utilization of the various technology solutions. This position is also the back up for fellow colleagues in the HAFS COE office, relieving and assisting as required..
RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific Duties
Has an excellent knowledge of all Accounts Receivable and Credit tasks and Hilton Worldwide Global Policy Initiatives (GPIs) and support the adherence to Hilton Worldwide and hotel policies, rules and regulations
Follow up closely on outstanding accounts/balances with relevant debtors for all hotels and monitor and identify payments allocation accurately in OnQ. This includes sending out monthly statements to all debtors during the 1st week of each month, emailing and calling debtors to follow up any outstanding accounts/invoices, checking and monitoring the payment allocations which are completed by the SSC team
Provide customer service relating to collection issues, process customer refunds, review accounts adjustments and resolve discrepancies and short payments
Work closely with the SSC team to ensure timely and accurate completion of key tasks impacting collections as well as any customer service issues requiring action or follow up by SSC
Perform any required daily checks, review all necessary reports and ensure proper routing of reports for approval
Participate in month end activities to support the hotels in the timely delivery of credit and OTC reporting
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation as required
Coordinate and conduct monthly Credit meetings for all hotels no later than end of week 3. Participate and ensure minutes are documented
Complete all required training (mandatory OnQ courses)
Comply and assist with internal and external audit requests and requirements
Should be able to explain to front office and food & beverage team members the procedures in place and train incoming team members
Prepare and submit monthly KPI statistics by hotel to the Finance Manager
Provide a timely and responsive service to both internal and external customers
Attends to any administrative tasks required for the proper functioning of DocMatrix. This includes coordination with vendor for any system issues
Attend and actively participate in departmental communication meetings and nominated training sessions and take responsibility for personal development
Is flexible in relation to shifts and is available to work all shifts as required
Relieve and/or assist fellow team members when they are on leave or require assistance
To perform any tasks or ad-hoc requests of a reasonable nature as required and requested by a supervisor or manager from time to time

The immediate reporting (to their direct supervisor) of all hazards which may cause injury, ill health or damage and to actively participate in programs undertaken to eliminate or control such hazards to the extent to which they are authorised and/or qualified
The immediate reporting of all incidents – no matter how small to their direct supervisor
Undertaking all training in safe work practises, system requirements, and where necessary, re-training
Participate and cooperate in the rehabilitation and return to work program if injured
Wearing and maintaining all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job or work environment
