Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Associate role based in Delhi, India. The Legal Associate will assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, contracts, and opinions across the firm’s practice areas and industry sectors. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing case laws and statutes, preparing case notes and briefs, and supporting senior lawyers in arbitration, litigation, and regulatory matters. The role involves client communication, coordination with external stakeholders, and maintaining accurate case files and documentation. The Legal Associate is expected to work collaboratively within practice teams and contribute to the efficient handling of matters and timely delivery of legal services.
Qualifications
Experience of 0-2 years.
Strong foundation in Law and the ability to identify and analyze Legal Issues across multiple practice areas.
Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting contracts, pleadings, opinions, and compliance-related documents.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for legal research, interpretation of statutes, and application of case law to client matters.
Effective Communication skills, including clear written drafting and professional verbal interaction with clients and colleagues.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the relevant Bar Council preferred.
Prior internship or work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with legal research tools, MS Office, and document management systems.
