Position Summary
ThinkNow is seeking a client-focused Bid Manager, Entry Level to support the preparation, management, and follow-up of bid opportunities within the market research industry.
This role is responsible for reviewing RFQs, evaluating study requirements, determining and communicating client pricing, coordinating feasibility, and ensuring accurate and timely responses to clients. The Bid Manager will communicate directly with U.S. and international clients throughout the bidding process.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, fluent in English, and able to manage multiple requests while providing a high level of client service.
Key Responsibilities
Review incoming RFQs and bid opportunities and identify key study requirements.
Analyze project specifications, including target audience, incidence rate (IR), quotas, feasibility, pricing, and other relevant requirements.
Determine appropriate CPI pricing and send bid costs directly to clients in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare and provide timely, accurate bid support and proposals while maintaining a quick turnaround time.
Develop appropriate sample supply plans and coordinate with internal teams to support smooth project execution.
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients during the bidding process.
Provide responsive, professional client service to U.S. and international clients.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope, feasibility, pricing, timelines, and delivery expectations.
Support feasibility assessments, pricing recommendations, and proposal development.
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, bid status updates, proposal records, and related documentation.
Negotiate CPI with clients when required and within established pricing guidelines.
Review changes to project specifications and assess the impact on feasibility and pricing.
Communicate with clients to renegotiate CPI when appropriate.
Support client escalations by reviewing project specifications, pricing, feasibility, and other factors affecting delivery.
Provide revised feasibility and pricing recommendations when project requirements change or when needed to resolve an escalation.
Qualifications
1–2 years of bidding experience in the market research industry.
Fluent spoken and written English is required.
Experience communicating directly with clients in the United States and international markets.
Experience with online data collection and/or sample management is preferred.
Working knowledge of feasibility, incidence rate (IR), quotas, pricing, and panel/sample sourcing.
Ability to manage multiple RFQs and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with close attention to detail.
Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
Excellent client service, professional communication, and business writing skills.
Confidence communicating directly with clients by email, phone, and virtual meetings.
Comfortable working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and responding to time-sensitive client requests.
