Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Assistant Manager will support day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations, including coordination of freight forwarding, transportation schedules, and warehouse activities. This role will assist in overseeing customs clearance procedures, monitoring service quality, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, prepare operational reports, and help implement process improvements for efficiency and cost optimization. The position also involves supervising staff as needed, resolving operational issues, and contributing to customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations, including freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing.
Experience coordinating end-to-end shipment activities, customs documentation, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Proficiency in using MS Office and logistics/supply chain management software or ERP tools.
Demonstrated ability in team coordination, stakeholder communication, and relationship management with vendors and clients.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and propose process improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, e-commerce, or telecom implementation operations is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of accuracy and integrity.
