Ecommerce Analyst

The company offers reinstatement and management services, assigning a dedicated e-commerce expert to handle account health, sales performance, and policy compliance. Upsell Ecommerce designs tailored plans to prevent violations and suspensions while optimizing product selection through expert product hunting services.
Role Description The Ecommerce Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Analyst to research products, assess profitability, and prepare purchase orders for our Amazon and Walmart clients. You should be confident with numbers, understand ROI and profit margins, and use sound judgment when recommending inventory within a client’s budget.
Qualifications
Research and shortlist products suitable for resale on Amazon and Walmart.
Prepare accurate purchase orders with product identifiers, quantities, unit costs, total investment, and estimated returns.
Calculate estimated net profit, ROI, profit margins, and break-even selling prices.
Account for marketplace fees, fulfillment, shipping, preparation, storage, and other applicable costs.
Analyze demand, competition, pricing history, sales rank, and Buy Box trends.
Recommend purchase quantities based on client budgets, expected sales, and inventory risk.
Check account eligibility, brand restrictions, and ungating requirements before recommending products.
Compare supplier offers and verify product, pack-size, and listing matches.
Explain calculations and recommendations clearly to account managers, tactfully highlighting risks or unrealistic expectations.
Revise purchase orders when prices, availability, budgets, or client requirements change.
Coordinate with procurement and account management teams to obtain approval before purchases proceed.
Maintain accurate analysis records and distinguish estimated returns from actual results.
Key Requirements
Prior experience in Amazon or Walmart product research, wholesale analysis, or purchase order preparation is an advantage.
Strong understanding of ROI, profit margins, marketplace fees, and inventory costs.
Excellent numerical skills and accuracy in calculations.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas and data analysis.
Experience with tools such as Keepa, SellerAmp, and marketplace revenue calculators preferred.
Ability to evaluate opportunities critically and avoid relying solely on high projected ROI.
Clear communication, tact, and sound commercial judgment.
Willingness to work night shifts from our Noida office.
Education: Graduate preferred, particularly in commerce, finance, business, or a related field. Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
Compensation: Based on experience and interview performance.
