Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role based at the Engineering college in Coimbatore. The Assistant Professor will deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions, ensuring syllabi and lesson plans meet academic standards and outcome-based education requirements. Responsibilities include mentoring learners, supervising projects, guiding internships, and supporting academic advising. The role involves designing assessments, evaluating performance fairly, maintaining academic records, and contributing to curriculum development. The Assistant Professor is also expected to pursue research and publications, participate in department and committee activities, support accreditation processes, and engage in co-curricular and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Engineering (M.E./M.Tech or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution; Ph.D. or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred.
Strong subject-matter expertise in the chosen engineering specialization, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and practically.
