Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Rohtak. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with individual and institutional investors, distributors, and other channel partners, while promoting SBI Mutual Fund products in line with regulatory and internal guidelines. Day-to-day activities include understanding client needs, recommending suitable mutual fund solutions, executing investment transactions, and ensuring timely servicing such as portfolio reviews and query resolution. The role involves achieving sales and AUM targets, conducting client meetings and investor awareness sessions, coordinating with internal teams for operational support, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The Relationship Manager will also ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, including adherence to fair practices and prevention of mis-selling.
Qualifications
Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, understand investor goals, and provide appropriate mutual fund solutions.
Solid knowledge of mutual funds and financial markets, including equity, debt, hybrid products, SIPs, and regulatory norms relevant to investment products.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct client meetings, presentations, and investor education sessions in a clear and professional manner.
Sales and business development capabilities, including target orientation, negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with distributors and channel partners.
Organizational and analytical skills, such as maintaining accurate documentation, preparing reports, tracking performance metrics, and using CRM or sales tools.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, economics, or a related field; a relevant certification (e.g., NISM mutual fund distribution certification) is highly preferred.
Prior experience in mutual funds, banking, wealth management, or financial services relationship management will be an advantage.
