Role Description The Insurance Specialist internship is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The intern will assist in managing insurance-related documentation and processes for company assets, including policy tracking, claim initiation, and renewal coordination. Day-to-day tasks include supporting insurance brokerage activities, collecting and verifying asset and client information, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The role also involves communicating with insurance partners, internal teams, and customers to clarify coverage details and resolve basic queries. The intern will collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure insurance compliance and contribute to reports on risk coverage and cost optimization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, with an understanding of basic policy types and asset coverage.
Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills, including basic budgeting, cost analysis, and data interpretation.
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to handle queries, explain information clearly, and build professional relationships.
Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage documentation accurately.
Candidates should be comfortable using spreadsheets and digital tools for tracking assets and insurance data.
Candidates currently pursuing or having completed studies in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field are preferred.
Candidates should be able to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and adapt to a fast-paced, growing organization.
