The firm has a strong litigation and dispute resolution practice covering civil, criminal, commercial, corporate, real estate, matrimonial, banking, insurance, arbitration, intellectual property and other matters.
Role Description
Thind Associates is looking for an Associate Lawyer to join its litigation team at the Chandigarh office.
The Associate will primarily be responsible for:
Drafting pleadings, petitions, applications, notices and other legal documents.
Conducting legal research on statutes, judgments and legal issues.
Preparing case briefs, notes and hearing files.
Assisting and appearing in matters before Courts and Tribunals.
Coordinating with clients and handling case-related documentation and filings.
The role is suitable for a lawyer who is genuinely interested in developing a long-term career in litigation and court practice.
Qualifications
LL.B. from a recognized university.
Enrolment with the Bar Council.
Strong legal drafting and research skills.
Good understanding of civil and criminal procedure.
Good command over written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and handle multiple matters.
Professional, punctual and willing to learn.
Prior litigation experience of 1–2 years will be preferred, although fresh candidates with strong drafting and research skills may also apply.
Candidates intending to pursue litigation as a long-term career will be preferred.
