Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for Site Engineers for MEP work, based in the Pune Division with a combination of on-site duties and some work-from-home flexibility. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day MEP activities at project sites, including coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and safety norms. Responsibilities include supervising contractors and technicians, conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and reporting daily work status to project managers. The role also involves reviewing plans, assisting in material planning, supporting quality control checks, and collaborating with design and procurement teams to maintain project timelines. The Site Engineer will interact with clients and stakeholders as needed to support smooth execution of MEP works.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including installation practices and safety standards.
Experience in site supervision, coordination with contractors, and practical execution of MEP work on construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Good planning, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and ability to track site progress.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with project managers, vendors, and on-site teams.
Proficiency with basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, documentation) and familiarity with project management workflows.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
Previous experience in MEP site work in or around Pune is an advantage; familiarity with local regulations and codes is beneficial.
Ability to travel to various sites in the Pune Division and work in a hybrid on-site/remote setup as required by project needs.
