Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in the Pune Division. The Project Engineer will oversee furniture-related engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with client requirements, safety standards, and company specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing project plans and technical drawings, coordinating with design, production, and installation teams, monitoring project progress, and resolving technical issues on-site. The role involves reviewing electrical and structural aspects where relevant, managing resources, tracking timelines and costs, and preparing reports and documentation. The Project Engineer will also communicate regularly with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates and ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to furniture and interior projects.
Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and progress tracking.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients, and to document technical information clearly.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
Experience in furniture manufacturing, interiors, construction, or related project environments is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and familiarity with CAD or similar design/engineering tools are advantageous.
Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, manage multiple projects, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
