We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment/Senior Equipment engineer with hands on experience on Ion Implant tools like Axcelis GSD, Purion and HE, 8250 and AMAT 9500XR, Quantum.
Role & Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of Implant tool KPIs, driving strategies to maximize tool availability by increasing MTBF (mean time between failure)
Monitor and analyze SPC/FDC trends and defect data to mitigate process excursions and optimize tool-level yield performance.
Spearhead continuous improvement projects (CIP) focused on enhancing tool performance.
Lead PM/CM content reviews and optimizations to improve equipment reliability and extend tool uptime.
Manage spare parts logistics to ensure zero downtime due to stockouts, while identifying second-source opportunities to drive down costs.
Provide high-level technical support for critical "Tool Down" recoveries and urgent troubleshooting.
Support future projects by performing FMEAs, conducting risk assessments and ensuring seamless tool integration.
Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, safety standards, Hazardous material handling and Electrical safety (LOTO)
Eligibility Criteria:
Mandatory Skills:
Diploma/B.Tech/M.Tech
3–5 years of experience on 200mm/300mm Ion Implant tools.
Preferred Skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
